College Humanitarian aid Packing Event for Haiti

Chosen Identities ministry will be partnering with Warriors for Christ an on campus ministry at University of Delaware and Campus Crusade for Christ on March 27th by spending the day at the Global Aid Network distribution center in Mt. Joy, PA packing humanitarian aid for Haiti.

Global Aid Network has responded to the earthquake in Haiti by sending food, water filters and blankets. Many people are asking, “How can I help?”
Chosen Identities would like to ask the congregation to consider making donations of
needed items for “Hygiene Kits”. Each Hygiene Kit will consist of a 2-gallon zip-lock
bag filled with: a hand towel, wash cloth, toothpaste (4.6 oz or larger), toothbrush (in
original package), bar of soap (in original package), comb, wet wipes, shampoo,
bandages (travel size or larger), tissues - 2 travel packs, and feminine pads (travel pack).

Other needed items include blankets, tents, canned food, dried rice/dried beans and first aid/medical supplies (a complete list is available on request).

Global Aid Network is the relief and development arm of Campus Crusade for Christ, GAiN began in
1991 as a humanitarian project to orphanages in the former Soviet Union and
now oversees projects in more than 30 countries. They have distributed over
$125 million worth of aid and mobilized more than 10,000 people on shortterm
aid distribution trips to meet both physical and spiritual needs of hurting people around the world.
